Caring for your Olympians 101
Hey babe,
So you've got your new TSF Olympians and you are SO excited - breaking them out of the pink box, practicing your posing and packing them in your bag for show day! But, how do you keep your heels in tip top shape?!
Here are 4 quick and easy tips EVERY member of the #PinkBoxSquad needs to keep handy!
1. The Famous "Blow Dryer Trick"
Here's how it goes:
First, put on a pair of thick socks (or two normal socks) and place your feet in the heels you would like to stretch out. Then, set your blow dryer to medium heat and point it at the plastic for 15 - 30 seconds. Next, move the dryer back and forth and keep the nozzle a few inches away to prevent scorching the shoe. Boom! Done. Now the heels should be molded for your feet. It's a game changer!
2. Achieving the Perfect Fit
Have TOO much space in your heel? Rather than the "Blow Dryer Trick", add in our exclusive Heel Good Insert for a perfect fit!
Some key features include:
- Made of a high-quality, dense foam material that will not flatten over time.
- Prevents feet from sliding forward in heel.
- Reduces extra space in the shoe for those who have narrow feet and want a tighter fit.
3. Cleaning Your Heels
Heels looking like they need a little TLC? Here's what to do:
First, grab a wash cloth and dampen with warm water. Add a bit of unscented dish soap and lather. Then, begin scrubbing the sole of your Olympian heel. You should instantly see the dirt, grime and tan residue being removed. Be sure to rinse your wash cloth and repeat as necessary until clean. Then dry with a paper towel. If this process is kept up with on a regular basis, the footbed of your heel should stay clean!
4. Traveling with Your Heels
We make traveling with your precious Olympians EASY - hence, the pink box and convenient carrying handle they come with! Help keep your heels in perfect shape by keeping them protected (and of course, ALWAYS carry them in style!)
