Women Empowerment

This past week we had the pleasure of watching nearly 100 videos created by women in the running for our Angel Athlete Search. 

It was completely mind blowing to hear almost every women say in their video that “The Shoe Fairy embodies and stands for WOMEN EMPOWERMENT”. While we have not once ever actually flat out said that, it is so very true! Why is this true though? Why does a company that sells heels and jewelry for competitors embody empowerment, strength and dream chasing?

I will tell why. My name is Alexa and I am the owner of The Shoe Fairy. This company would have never existed had I never stepped on a bodybuilding stage. While people have many views on the sport of bodybuilding, it goes way beyond what meets the eye. It goes WAY beyond abs, veins and being shredded. It transforms your mind. It shows you that you can do things you never thought you could do. It builds strength (not just physical) but MENTAL. It develops the discipline to reach your goals which in turn, build your confidence.

Bodybuilding for me, changed my whole life. It turned me into a LION. It instilled so much confidence into me, THAT I STARTED A BUSINESS. A business that I believed SO much in, that after a few short months, I quit my “safe” full time job. That is what these heels mean to me. If I never put on these clear high heels, I would not be living out my potential and chasing my dreams.

I am so unbelievably happy that someway, somehow, so many women were able to realize that’s what this company stands for. We will always encourage you to be confident and chase your dreams. We love bodybuilding not for the physical transformation, but the mental one.
